What a lovely difference

2 days of wonderful sunshine & now the ponies are so sweaty after a hack I am sluicing them off with cold water from the hose pipe. It is great to see the dust getting washed away :D The land is drying up & we have short stretches of bridleway where we can .... gasp....canter...:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: We have been restricted to walk with a few very short section where we could trot for the last few months!
Took Connie & Darna to the uphill gallop track on today's hack....could not go right to the bottom, still too wet, but could turn at the half way point. Connie was so excited I had relaxed & stationary to gallop in one stride & I nearly flew off the back of the saddle...I did not think she was fit enough to tank like that!!:D OH fared a little better on Darna as he knew she was fit enough but even he was caught slightly unawares & the air was pale blue:D

Wonderful, glad you enjoyed yourself. I have been on a lounger in the garden doing my knee exercises. I have been to see Thyme about 4 times since my op but she is being ridden. I have to rely on others to get to the yard

Its glorious down here too. IP has gone from quite svelte to seriously chubby almost overnight (I know the feeling  ) so we are out on our long and slow hill work, It is sooo lovely to not be squelching that I did a little dance with my wheelbarrow last night as I poo picked the paddock :heh hee:

Here comes summer :D:D

Great you managed a good ride, its lovely to see it all drying up again, curiously I see they have the irrigators out already for the turf crop they do round here, you would have thought there was enough moisture left in the ground.
