Mood: Loving my lovely ponies

Happy Hiker

Normally myself and a friend and Sandy go out on an Monday afternoon with Maddy, Humph and either Elsie or Fara but yesterday grooming Mr H I felt he wasn't up to carrying a lump like me, even for a short hack in walk. My lovely friend Sarah offered to lead him out with us and he loved it - no attempt to snatch grass at all, he was a pony with a job to do. He went behind going out and in front coming home. I wish I'd had my phone to capture a view through double ears - which were pricked forward all the way.

:clap::clap::clap::clap:

I plan on getting Mac (who will be two next month) led out and about a little bit this year too - not sure if IP will let me lead from her as she's a bit precious about her 'personal space' :mad: but he needs to see the world a bit now. It might give him something other than causing trouble to think about - especially as he is now just a shade over fifteen two :eeek:

(NB: he is a purebred Highland who seems to have tapped into some dim and distant giraffe bloodline...)
