Thank you to Sally & Rabbit

Thank you to Sally Rowe & Rabbit, the photo of the pair of you riding in storm Freya on Sunday was just the nudge I needed to get out hacking with Connie in less than ideal weather today. Connie & I are entered for her longest ever PR in 30 days so we need to be clocking up a few miles :) We are doing the 20km at the Dalby Dash, the furthest she has done is 16km so time to get fit. It will be lovely to start doing the 20-30km rides again as I have been cossetting her...well the weather last summer was not conduicive to fast, long rides!!! Not that I am complaining about the sunshine last summer :)
Last Tues it was so hot Connie needed a major slosh, today even though we went much faster she did not lather up :) :)

Hope it goes well for you LJ and Connie - I used to think that part of the enjoyment of LDR was the preparation and seeing your pony get fitter
