Connie says......

......who needs an arena to do dressage manoeuvers:stealth::stealth::stealth:
First she demonstrated this by doing some very nice 5 bar gate opening/closing. First gate was over a very deep rut & the second over a puddle that was the width of the gateway & it extended at least 4' either side. For a Princess pony who dislikes getting her feet wet this involved some very nifty footwork :)
Then we did some lateral work:D The first time was partridge assisted...4 steps of fast trot sideways before my brain registered what was happening :) The second time was due to a grouse erupting under her left fore...this time 2 steps of canter to the right before I was able to tell her she was being a plonker :) :)
After that we were able to do collected and extended trot along the tracks .... this time I was the instigator :) :)
A fun hack listening to the larks singing their hearts out, perfect :)

Mac uses his dressage moves as an evasion - I ask for trot, he gives me shoulder-in :)
