Not MORE snow?!?!?!

Blimey, and I thought it was spring. On Friday I was sitting in the garden eating an ice cream, today I'm under loads of layers and still cold! I have had enough of winter.
And, as usual, from 7am the phone started going 'I can't get to the yard, can you put so-and-so out for me?'. Maybe I should sell my beloved trusty Land Rover and get a useless normal car :D I'm the oldest livery but end up turning out half the yard :( Getting too old for this lark - bring on summer.

Couldn't believe it when I opened the door and saw the snow yesterday morning, I thought we had had our stuff on Saturday. I think it took a lot of people on the hop. It was not good down my track as other peoples 4x4's had been down and left two nice furrows for tyres, but a massive bit in the middle for my little peuguot to crawl over. Managed to get to the yard though, but everyone is fed up now, its been a long old winter and I can't see the end of mucking out for another 3 weeks to a month now at all.:(

It has blown quite badly here. I did manage to get to the ponies in the car today. Yesterday I used the Discovery but Dave took that to work today!

I am in denial about a white Easter, even though the odds on a white Easter are more likely than a white Christmas. OH will be away, do not want to cope with lambing, frozen troughs etc on my own. When OH had said he wanted to go off to this course I had envisioned a lazy, sunny long w/e doing things at my own pace, riding & watching lambs gambolling...maybe having to catch a few ram lambs to neuter them but nothing more strenuous than that! Now I foresee rolling out hosepipes across fields to fill troughs, reeling them back in, having them in the house to stop them freezing:bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling:
