Down South - Sussex visit

I arrived Down South in Sussex on Thursday, but had an enforced day on the Sofa on Friday when there was a poorly human, which was a bit boring as I had hoped to meet some more ponies. It was OK though because I got to stay in the dry and eat whatever I fancied.

Today I made up for the inactivity of yesterday and joined in some fence repairs - Amos of Litigan was supervising as David did all the work, a small human sat with me on top of Amos and we had a great view of the countryside as well. Amos told me he would never demolish the fencing and the idea of jumping over the rails when they fell down was just too energetic.

The human is trying to add a photo ....

After that we all went Young Horse Training with Fleetmead Rousay, we went along the lane near where they all live and saw two vans, two cars, one bicycle and some walkers. Rousay had a good look at some road signs and some digging works which he said were NO BIG DEAL but the puddle on the way back was a huge obstacle and he couldn't possible get his feet wet.

I'm looking forward to Strictly now and a quiet evening in, more adventures tomorrow visiting Deirdre.

Thank you - the small human is fine, I thought Caroline was the best on Strictly and I enjoyed very much my visit to Fleetmead Stud and seeing Deirdre on Sunday.

I met lots of lovely ponies there including Kay and Ensay who we played with, Alisa, Ronay and others including Summer, the mum of the young boy Rousay who I was training on Saturday. Deirdre is amazing, I don't know how she manages with all those ponies, but we took her a cake and that seems to help! She likes chocolate cake, and home made ones best.

It was really nice to see Ruby on sunday with all her new southern friends she is very lucky to be in a house of good cooks as the chocolate cake ruby pretended she made I hope wasn't true as her hooves looked a bit muddy to stir cake mixture with.
I saw Ensay the wise one on this place giving Ruby some advice on how to treat humans. Kay too asked Ruby how she liked travelling and advice on going to Scotland as Kay is just thinking she might like a trip there in the spring!!
It was a shame it is so wet and muddy here so Ruby couldn't have a tour and see the 4 young girls who were out in the equally wet and muddy field.
With all the rain we have had recently I was a bit worried as I thought Ruby had shrunk a little bit.
Ruby was surprised and not a bit sympathetic to see part of the barn were the ponies stables are had been badly flooded again the weekend before,:help::help:help:::help:
Ruby also met one or two of our baby bantams and said she would like to have some to keep her company when she is travelling alone so when ever she reaches her final destination after all her travelling please can she have some Fleetmead bantams: I agreed with that as thought it would be nice if she had a souvenir from every place she had been to.

Have one or two pics but may be a little while putting them on here as photobuckt as the norm not being helpful

Sorry if there are some blank spaces but having had major row with facebook it got its own back and put some pics on X 100:eeek:
Also couldn't make pics smaller as was surprised to get anything to appear
Stars on pics are Sussex Rebecca's girls Hannah and Freya with Ensay and Kay (Eriskay + one small bantam that Ruby fancied and of course Ruby herself mostly having a bird's eye view
Edited umpteen times to try and removeall or at least most of duplicates so long past bed time yet again and Lizzie cross as she wants her last run and bed,
