Ruby @ Border Highlands

Today Jessie's human took us to the Ian Stark Equestrian Centre for a Border Highlands Training Day with Jenny Stark. It was lots of fun, I met lots of new highlands - Strathleven Slioch, Mowhaugh Capercaillie, Little Fenwick Ben Nevis, Portnadoran Breeze, Rowandene, Lurgan Ben Chonzie, Nina of Rescobie, Dunedin Rhiona and Tower Highland Piper. I also met another pony who used to live with Jessie's mum, he was Tower Osprey. He is a highland but he has no mane or feather and a very neat tail because he had Grown Too Big so is now a cob. I actually thought he looked rather smart. He seemed quite pleased to see Jessie's human.

All the ponies and humans worked very hard in the lessons, and sometimes Mrs Stark had to run around too making encouraging noises. She was very nice. I supervised her from the edge to make sure she gave the instructions correctly, she did quite well, I thought.

Here are some photos from the day:

Ruby you are not paying much attention to the lesson. You are getting much too like a super model and making sure the camera angles are perfect for your best side. Glad it wasn't raining when you were outside.
Any photos of the 'cob' Osprey ?

Mags, I did not want to upset Mrs Stark by supervising too closely, and I felt I had a duty to keep the spectators happy during the standing still bits. Sadly no photos of Osprey, Jessie's human was too busy squealing!
