Roving Ruby - HPEC's official 40th anniversary mascot

As you all may or may not know HPEC celebrates it's 40th anniversary this year. Your committee have been coming up with ideas including the Tuby Final at the Southern Highland Pony Show.

Another idea to celebrate the clubs 40th year was a club mascot. We wanted something to try and involve everyone from all aspects of the club, and so the mascot Ruby was born (or commissioned). Ruby will live with members throughout the year who will complete a blog or diary on the forum while in their company. As the member attends events or meets up with other HPEC members, Ruby will be passed on to a new member and her journey will continue on.

Ruby has no set journey so it's up to the members to keep her well travelled and blog active. We hope she will highlight the lovely network of people that makes the club so special.

And so her journey begins in the North York Moors with LJ and Ed Macholc. It's upto them now to see her on her travels and send her off with the next member.

Hope this all makes sense and that you all get chance to be a part of Ruby's journey. A new thread will be made so that just the story is on and then comments can be made in thread started by LJ.

Any questions and just ask here.

Chris
