Walking the dogs up on the moor this morning, sun shone & lark singing:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:
Snow forecast next week :blue:, I shall hold on to the memory of the lark to keep my spirits up until the sun returns

How lovely. Hopefully spring isn't too far off. :)

Oh because of the state of my knee I cant make it to the fields with the larks. They are YOs hay fields and we used to walk the dogs round now its just OH dogwalking but at present he is in Canada skiing with daughter and grandson.

Really made me realise how much I am missing with this disability, however small consolation I am up at 6am and a really noisy dawn chorus is in full swing

Just heard due for op third of April so hopefully a few weeks after that I can go and listen to the larks. YO leaves his cutting until after they have nested.

:clap::clap::clap: FT, both that you have an op date & it is not far off now and for your YO being so lark friendly:)

Lovely to hear birdsong after winter. I get so excited when the first swallows arrive! And I saw a pair of Bullfinches yesterday, very rare round this way.

I seem to have a gang of long tailed tits this year. Never had them before and the robin is most put out :P Beautiful little birds.

I love Long-Tailed Tits, my favourite bird! We have a small flock that appears in the garden occasionally, but not often enough for me
